Flight Cancellation Credit Policy for Kokomo Botanical Resort 

Policy Overview

We understand that winter weather can create unexpected travel disruptions. While travel insurance with trip interruption coverage is strongly recommended for all guests, Kokomo Botanical Resort offers a flexible credit policy for guests whose flights are cancelled due to blizzard or severe snow storm conditions.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for our Blizzard Snow Storm credit, guests must:

  1. Provide Official Documentation
     Submit proof of flight cancellation from your airline showing cancellation was due to blizzard, snow storm, or severe winter weather conditions
  2. Timely Notification
     Contact Kokomo Botanical Resort within 24 hours of learning about your flight cancellation
  3. Active Reservation
     Have a confirmed, paid reservation for the affected dates
  4. Weather-Related Cancellation Only
     Flight cancellation must be directly caused by blizzard or snow storm conditions (airline-initiated cancellation, not passenger-initiated changes)

Credit Terms

Upon verification of eligible flight cancellation:

  • One complimentary night credit toward a future stay
  • Credit valid for 12 months from original check-in date
  • Minimum stay requirement: 3 consecutive nights
  • Credit applies to accommodation only (excludes taxes, resort fees, and ancillary services)
  • Non-transferable and may not be combined with other promotional offers
  • Subject to availability and blackout dates

Important Notes

No Refunds

This policy does not include refunds for cancelled reservations. The credit represents our commitment to welcoming you to our Caribbean wellness sanctuary when travel conditions improve.

 

Travel Insurance Strongly Recommended

We highly encourage all guests to purchase comprehensive travel insurance including trip interruption coverage. Travel insurance provides financial protection for unforeseen circumstances including weather-related cancellations, medical emergencies, and other covered events.

 

Standard Cancellation Policy Applies

For cancellations not qualifying under this Blizzard Snow Storm policy, our standard cancellation terms remain in effect as outlined at the time of booking.

 

How to Submit a Claim

Step 1: Gather Documentation
 Obtain official flight cancellation notice from your airline clearly stating weather-related cause

Step 2: Contact Us Promptly
 Email: reservations@kokomobotanicalresort.com
 Include: Confirmation number, flight cancellation documentation, contact information

Step 3: Credit Issuance
 Our team will review your submission within 48 hours and issue your credit voucher upon approval

Step 4: Redeem Your Credit
 When ready to reschedule, reference your credit voucher code during the booking process for your minimum 3-night stay

Policy effective February 1st, 2026. Kokomo Botanical Resort reserves the right to modify this policy at any time. Guests are subject to the policy terms in effect at the time of their original booking.
